When we attain adult status, we have to make choices that are new and often difficult. We have to face many difficult questions, especially pursuing a career and marriage. It is very difficult to decide to select a job because there are many factors that may influence my decision. For example, family pressure, the potential for earning money, my personal interest and some obligations, these can affect my decision.
When I was studying in Mathayom 3, I wanted to study in Language Program (France and English) in Mathayom 4, but my parents did not allow me. They would like me to study in Science and Math Program. They’d like me to be a nurse. Finally, I followed my parents’ command to study in Science and Math Program. However I still dreamed to study language in the university. Eventually, when I graduated Mathayom 6, I have got a scholarship to study in English major, Nakhon Pathom Rajabhat University. I would like to be a translator or a flight attendant because I want to make as much money as possible and have lots of exciting experiences. I like traveling and I would like to visit everywhere in the world. That is impossible for now or five years later because I have to repay a debt of scholarship for five years after I graduate. I have to be a teacher and teach in my hometown, Sisaket. Fortunately, in the future, 5-10 years, my dream will be true.

After we have got a job, next thing that we would like to plan is marriage. Almost people would like to raise a family but who I should get married with. Someone said I would like to get married with someone who is rich and handsome. The other said I’ll get married with one who I love. There are many choices to select the mate. The selection is very important because it can change my life. I will be very happy if I select a good mate; in contrast, I will be saddened and dejected if my mate is a bad man. So I wish get married with a man who is kind and understanding, intelligent and good earning, someone that I could stay with until I leave the world. In my opinion, a best age at which to get married is 25-30 years old because it is an appropriate time to have children. You have a healthy body and good mind. You’re responsible to look after your babies. Although I would like to have a child, I do not like to be a pregnant. I am afraid of pregnancy.
