Task 3: Why I want to get married

Previously I did not think about marriage and did not want to have any boyfriends. From childhood, I always think to get high education. My goal is Ph.D. I would like to study as high as possible. I would like to get a best job and make as mush money as possible to help my parents.

I am not sure, is this called destiny? But I know you do are jealous me if you read my journal.

I met a man who let me know the meaning of love. He came to my way and shared his soul with me. When I was upset and crying, he always tended with care, supported and consoled me. When I was sick, he usually took care of me – bought foods and drugs- and looked after me all day. Just after I got well, he turned to be sick. He usually says “sorry” when he makes me angry. It is more than 4 years that he asked me to be his girlfriend. We have laughed and cried together. We share our soul, not only our life. Although I am hot head and touchy, he never says “good bye”. He says “I love you” to me everyday. Because of this reason, I want to get married. I want to live with him forever. However I never think getting married cannot tie up the couple, love and understanding are important to live with someone. There are many factors that may influence my decision, my family and my relationship. I think no women refuse to wear the wedding dress, pure white dress. My mother would like to see me to get married with someone who is kind. I will graduate on February 2009. It is not surprising if I want to get married, is it?

Nowadays I am not ready to raise a family because I want to be independent. There are many things that I want to do myself. I would like to graduate MA before getting married. When I raise a family, I have to be responsible to take care of my family, my husband and my child. I am not ready to have a child. I have a plan after I graduate MA – not more 30 years old – I am ready to get it. However it does not depend on only me. Perhaps my boyfriend asks me to get married him now, I may say yes.
